  • 250 ml warm milk
  • 150 g sugar
  • 4 eggs

Method

  2. Add the flour, eggs, butter, lemon zest and salt.
  3. Knead thoroughly until the dough is elastic.
  4. Leave to rise until doubled in size.
  5. Shape into loaves and leave them to rise again.
  6. Bake until the loaves are golden and sound hollow when tapped.
